Marco Asensio reveals his big dream at PSG

Like every year, Paris Saint-Germain will play its season over the next three weeks. Opposed to Real Sociedad for a highly anticipated round of 16, the Parisian club is counting on its strong men to make the difference. Among them, we find Marco Asensio (28 years old). Returning from an injury which kept him away from the field for the entire start of the season, the Spaniard is returning to his best level, as evidenced by his good performance against Lille this weekend (3-1).

Very well integrated into the locker room, Marco Asensio defines himself as “an important player, who can help others, a role that I share with other players who have been there for a long time”, with experience and leadership to help the youngest. But he recognizes that the presence of Luis Enrique made things easier, he who knew him with the Spanish selection. “He is a very demanding coach, and in fact one of the best I have ever had, both in terms of his work discipline and his professionalism, his demands towards himself and towards us”explained the ex-Madrilenian.

Author of five goals and four assists since his arrival, the 28-year-old striker assures that it is in the center that he feels most comfortable and most dangerous. A position that requires a lot at the defensive and tactical level, according to him. Finally, to return to the Champions League, Asensio, three-time winner of the competition, has a clear objective: to win it with his new club. “With the club, the staff and the players, we are on the right track, united, and I believe that we will accomplish great things. We all get along well and are very ambitious. We want to win everything”.
