Manchester United are aiming to secure their place in the next round of the FA Cup this Sunday as the Reds make the trip to face Newport in the fourth round.
Erik ten Hag’s chances of winning trophies in two consecutive seasons all hinge on the FA Cup and the Dutchman will be keen on giving that route to silverware a real go, as his team selection on Sunday shows.
Ten Hag has named a strong side for the game but there is no Marcus Rashford, who could face disciplinary action after missing training on Friday.
That would normally not have raised any eyebrows but the 26-year-old was spotted at a nightclub the night before he missed training.
In his place, Alejandro Garnacho starts on the left-hand side, with Rasmus Hojlund leading the line, aiming to make it three goals from as many games.
