Marcus Rashford is not currently seeking a move away from Manchester United despite fresh interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
After his stunning 30-goal season last term, Rashford had endured an indifferent 2023-24 campaign under Erik ten Hag, scoring just one goal from open play during the first-half of the season.
His form has improved in 2024, scoring in three games in a row against Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and Wolves.
Prior to that, the England international was disciplined after missing training following a night out in Belfast last month with reports later emerging he is back on PSG’s radar.
The French champions are long-term admirers of the forward and were interested in signing him before he penned a new long-term deal at Old Trafford last summer.
With Kylian Mbappe set to leave PSG at the end of the season to join Real Madrid, Rashford has been shortlisted as a possible replacement for the French superstar.
While Rashford briefly found himself in hot water following his night out in Belfast, the 26-year-old has started United’s last four games alongside Alejandro Garnacho and the in-form Rasmus Hojlund with United’s attack finally discovering some real cohesion.
Rashford and his agent and brother Dwaine Maynard held crunch talks with ten Hag at the end of January with i Sport reporting he is not currently seeking a move away from Old Trafford.
The report adds however PSG are unlikely to be deterred and could still make their move at the end of the season – particularly should they be priced out of a move for alternative target Victor Osimhen.
PSG have a considerable void to fill with Mbappe on the move.
The France international has told his club he intends to leave with his current contract expiring in June.
He is set to sign a five-year deal with Real Madrid on a deal reportedly worth £13million a season plus a £128m signing-on bonus.
