Vince McMahon is making headlines again as he faces accusations of sexual trafficking and numerous other allegations from a former WWE employee. Now, Maria Kanellis is releasing a statement regarding the lawsuit once again.
Maria Kanellis was released from WWE back in 2020 as part of the company’s largest mass exodus. Since then, Kanellis has made it clear she never liked Vince McMahon, even stating she would never return to WWE when McMahon was still in charge.
Vince McMahon is accused of sexual trafficking and misconduct by former WWE employee Janel Grant. In her lawsuit, Grant alleges McMahon shared explicit content of her without consent, involving other WWE employees, unnamed executives, and stars, directing her to engage in sexual activities with them.
Maria Kanellis took to Twitter and addressed the news surrounding Vince McMahon’s lawsuit, expressing concern about the widespread reports of wrongdoing within WWE.
Kanellis acknowledged the challenges faced by those who tried to speak up for positive change and hopes justice would be served, bringing peace to the victims. Kanellis extended her prayers to all victims, including those who have spoken out, those no longer with us, and those suffering in silence.
”All the news coming out is horrible. Many of us experienced or heard rumors of different levels of evil for years. Some tried to speak up to build momentum to change the culture in WWE. Many times we’ve been called bitter or crazy. Others have been paralyzed by fear. I just hope justice is served and I hope this brings some people peace. I pray for all of the victims, the ones that have spoke up, the ones no longer with us, and the ones that suffer in silence.”
Vince McMahon’s NDAs might also be useless as well. A WWE employee also believes Vince McMahon’s sexual trafficking lawsuit is just the tip of the iceberg. We will have to wait and see what will become of McMahon in the end.
