Maria Kanellis says her AEW contract is coming up, and she is unsure whether she will be re-signing, as she has not heard anything from the company yet.
In a post on Instagram, Maria Kanellis provided an update on her health and her status with AEW.
“It’s been a little bit since I’ve checked in. We’re getting close to my surgery, and we’re within 20 days of it at this point,” Kanellis said. “This week, I have an ultrasound. I have generic testing, and I also am meeting with my surgeon to make a plan and hopefully start discussing what time of day we’ll be doing the surgery and if we’re going through the front or through the back. So I’m trying to not focus too much on that.
“Also, my contract with AEW is coming up October 31. I’ve reached out to them to find out whether or not they are going to be signing me, but I haven’t really heard anything yet, so of course, that is weighing on me as well.
Kanellis also noted that she was trying to focus on “spooky season”, and she was working on Halloween decorations because the rest of it was out of her control right now.
In the post, Kanellis wrote, “Don’t know if it’s cancer. Dont know if it’s genetic. Don’t know if I will be working for AEW. I have zero answers but I have this stick and it will make my kids happy.”
