AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May dismisses Toni Storm‘s return to AEW and says she doesn’t care.
Storm made her return at AEW Dynamite: Worlds End and interrupted May’s celebration after she defeated Mina Shirakawa.
Speaking with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, Mariah May commented on Toni Storm’s return.
“I honestly don’t care,” Mariah May said. “For me, I was in the main event of Dynamite: Winter is Coming. Special show for us, and I was wrestling my best friend Mina, and I was trying to give Mina this amazing opportunity to be a champion, to be on American TV. You’ve got Thunder Rosa in the crowd. Toni Storm’s coming out, saying she’s All Elite?
“I don’t know, I don’t really care, and as I said when I came [backstage] afterwards, I’ll do the same thing to every single one of these girls as many times as I need to before they get the message, and that’s why I’m wrestling Thunder Rosa at Worlds End.”
May will defend her title against Thunder Rosa at AEW Worlds End.
