Mark Briscoe has won the ROH World Championship for the first time.
Mark Briscoe headlined ROH Supercard of Honor as he challenged Eddie Kingston for the ROH World Championship. They battled it out in a thrilling match as the competitors threw everything they had at each other. Briscoe was bleeding profusely by the end of the bout, and he hit the Jay Driller for the win to capture the gold. He then celebrated with friends, family, and other members of the locker room.
Briscoe is a ROH Hall of Famer, as he held the ROH World Tag Team Championship with his brother, Jay Briscoe, who passed away in a car accident in January 2023.
Kingston previously won the title by beating Claudio Castagnoli at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2023.

The challenger continues to gain momentum, but both men are down after a double clothesline. They go back and forth. Both men are down after a slam off the apron. Mark nearly gets counted out, but he gets back in the ring. Kingston and Briscoe trade blows. Briscoe levels Kingston with a clothesline. Kingston floors Briscoe with a Dragon suplex and a backfist for a two-count.
Briscoe evades a backfist. Kingston hits another, but Briscoe rocks him with a kick. Briscoe hits a Cuthroat Driver and hits the Jay Driller for the win.
