Marko Stunt stunned the world of AEW tonight by returning to the ring to challenge Jack Perry for Perry’s TNT Championship.
Stunt surprised Perry on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, appearing with Perry’s old Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus theme music. Perry was clearly surprised to see Stunt, who was looking to take Perry’s TNT title before he could even defend it by answering Perry’s open challenge for the title.
Unfortunately for Stunt, that wouldn’t end up happening. In the ring, Perry was able to take care of business, and walked out with his first official title defense after hitting a Shining Wizard toward the end of the match for the win.
