Brazilian international Marquinhos will miss Paris Saint-Germain’s next meeting.

Paris Saint-Germain announced this Thursday that Marquinhos had withdrawn from the trip to Monaco on Friday in Ligue 1.

The Brazilian central defender, injured in the calf, will not take any risks five days before the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League against Real Sociedad next Tuesday.

Resumption scheduled for Saturday

In its official press release, the capital club specifies that the Parisian captain, who has already missed the reception of Rennes (1-1) on Sunday, will carry out work in the gym this Thursday and will resume training on Saturday. It is therefore possible that he will be available by then for the trip to Anoeta.

In addition, other players are still occupying the infirmary, this is notably the case of Presnel Kimpembe and Milan Skriniar, both injured.
