Marquinhos continues to enrich his record with Paris Saint-Germain. This Sunday, after an admittedly narrow victory against AS Monaco (1-0) during the 2024 Champions Trophy in Doha, the Brazilian central defender won his 31st title in the Parisian jersey.
The captain of the Rouge et Bleu has now established himself as the most successful player in the history of PSG, but also of French football. He is ahead of Marco Verratti (30 trophies) and Thiago Silva (23), who completes the podium.
Since arriving from AS Roma in 2013, Marquinhos has made 464 appearances for the capital club, scoring 38 goals and providing 12 assists. As a reminder, the reigning French champion had paid 32 million euros, excluding bonuses, to secure the services of the Brazilian international.
