EXCLUSIVE: Writer/director/producer Marti Noxon has signed with UTA for representation.

Noxon recently created and executive produced the HBO’s Sharp Objects, starring Amy Adams, which landed an Outstanding Limited Series Emmy nomination. She also co-created and executive produced UnReal, earning a writing Emmy nomination for the first season, which also won a Peabody. She went on to create and executive produce the Bravo drama series Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, and the Joy Nash-Julianna Margulies beauty industry-skewering Dietland for AMC.

Throughout her career, Noxon also has worked in key roles on such culture-defining series as as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mad Men, Glee and Grey’s Anatomy

Noxon currently has a first-look deal with Entertainment One to produce television and new media content through her production company Tiny Pyro, along with producing partner Maria Grasso.

On the feature side, Noxon wrote and directed the anorexia drama To the Bone, starring Lily Collins and Keanu Reeves. She has also produced two feature documentaries, Split at the Root, focusing on the Trump Administration’s policy of separating immigrant families at the border, and the efforts of a network of women volunteers to reunite them; and Code Black, about the inner workings of a trauma bay at an inner-city hospital emergency room. The latter spawned the CBS medical drama of the same name, which Noxon executive produced.

This marks a rare agency move for Noxon who continues to be repped by Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman.
