EXCLUSIVE: Martin Bobb-Semple has been upped to series regular for Season 3 of All American: Homecoming.
In the Nkechi Okoro Carroll-created series, Bobb-Semple portrays Orlando “Lando” Johnson, a college baseball player who is initially introduced as an antagonist from a rival school toward the end of Season 1. He transfers to Bringston University in the second season and quickly becomes involved in a love triangle of sorts with Simone [Geffri Maya] and Damon [Peyton Alex Smith]. Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, as Simone supposedly professes her love to either Damon or Lando…but viewers don’t see who it is.
All American: Homecoming is a young adult sports drama set against the backdrop of the HBCU experience at Bringston University, where Black excellence is a way of life. No Season 3 premiere date has been announced as of yet.
The series stars Geffri Maya, Cory Hardrict, Sylvester Powell, Camille Hyde, Mitchell Edwards, Netta Walker and Rhoyle Ivy King. Peyton Alex Smith and Kelly Jenrette will recur.
All American: Homecoming is created and executive produced by Nkechi Okoro Carroll who serves as co-showrunner alongside executive producer Marqui Jackson. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Robbie Rogers, and Lindsay Dunn also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Berlanti Productions, Rock My Soul Productions and CBS Studios in association with Warner Bros. Television.
Bobb-Semple is repped by Luber Roklin Entertainment, Identity Agency Group (IAG) UK and Brecheen Feldman Breimer, et al.
