Fresh off her victory at TNA Bound For Glory, newly-crowned TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich made a surprise appearance on a popular late-night talk show.
On the October 27 episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, actor and comedian Will Ferrell starred in a parody music video inspired by Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.” Throughout the video, a cowboy-hat-wearing Ferrell can be seen walking amongst a western landscape filled with motorcyclists, a marching band, cheerleaders, and even a pair of fighting Santa Clauses.
The respective video also reveals scenes of slushie-drinking nuns, a family camping trip, and Slamovich hanging out on a farm with a blue tractor and a grass-eating cow. “The Russian Dynamite” later appears in closing scenes as well, this time sitting atop the tractor.
Slamovich has since shared a screenshot of her cameo (via Twitter), accompanied by a saluting emoji and a series of USA flags.
The month of October has especially been a busy one for Slamovich. In addition to filming with Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Slamovich has wrestled across GCW, REVOLVER, Beyond Wrestling, and TNA Wrestling. Regarding the latter, Slamovich cemented her first TNA Knockouts Championship reign with a win over Jordynne Grace at Bound For Glory. In doing so, Slamovich also marked her first singles victory over Grace in TNA territory.
