The era of WWE NXT on the USA Network came to its conclusion on the September 24 edition of the show, as the Black and Gold brand moves to the CW Network next week, with its premiere episode taking place in Chicago, Illinois. With a stacked card already announced, one more match and interesting developments have been added for the spectacular show.
For weeks, the NXT Universe has witnessed tensions between Fatal Influence and the duo of Jaida Parker and Lola Vice. Following their failure to take them down individually, Parker and Vice will team up together to battle two members of Fatal Influence next week on CW.
Elsewhere, the D’Angelo family designed an extensive training program for their leader, Tony D’Angelo, to overcome his fear of NXT North American Champion Oba Femi. Following the end of the training montage, it was announced that D’Angelo and Femi would square off with the North American title on the line two weeks later in St Louis. However, they will come face-to-face as special guests on Miz TV set to take place next week.
Apart from them, WWE NXT has already announced three matches for the show in Chicago. Ethan Page will defend his NXT title against Trick Williams with CM Punk as the Special Guest Referee, Giuila will challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s title, and a Street Fight will take place between heated rivals Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz with things becoming intensely personal on tonight’s show.
