Young French striker Mathys Tel may not fare well with his current club Bayern.

Manchester United are interested in Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel. The latter could therefore not last forever at the Allianz Arena.

Florian Plettenberg, Sky Germany journalist, claims that Manchester United have started negotiations with Bayern for the French hopeful international. He stated : “Manchester United have made contact for the first time and are very interested in signing him this summer! Two other English clubs have also inquired about him in recent weeks.”

So ready to think about his options

Plettenberg nevertheless specifies that the former Rennes player’s priority is to continue with Bayern. “We were told: Even though it’s not easy for him at the moment, he doesn’t want to give up because he wants to become a legend for Bayern. “But, if he doesn’t feel like Bayern believe in him for the future, he will consider his options, but a loan is not one of them.”

Such came to Bayern in the summer of 2022 for a fee of 20 million euros. Since then, he has played 55 matches, but only 6 as a starter. He also has 12 goals scored and 3 assists offered.
