In advanced negotiations with Mats Hummels for several weeks, Bologna is still waiting. A contract offer is on the table for the recent Champions League finalist and the Italian club does not intend to rush him. “We have presented our project to him and we are waiting for Hummels to make up his mind,” said the president of the rossoblù club.
The supposed interest of Real Madrid had visibly made the defender hesitate, free of any contract, but the Merengues would not really be on the case. Bologna could therefore have the field clear for the 2014 world champion, which would explain the ambient calm around the Hummels case. The decision of the Dortmund captain should not be long in coming anyway.
