Matt Bellamy and wife Elle Evans welcome their second baby together

Matt Bellamy and his wife, Elle Evans, welcomed their second child together, a son, on Mother’s Day.

“We are so pleased to announce the arrival of our new baby angel boy 💙 George Julien-Wade Bellamy🩵

Born on Sunday May 12, 2024,” Evans, 34, announced on Instagram Monday along with a series of photos of their adorable newborn smiling while swaddled.

The model called George’s birth “the most special blessing,” as he arrived on not only Mother’s Day but also what would have been her late mom Julie’s 60th birthday.

The infant got his first name from the Muse frontman’s father, George, and his middle names from Evans’ mother and “cowboy dad,” Billy Wade.

“He arrived healthy, happy, and handsome as ever!!!” the mom of two gushed. “We are obsessed & basking in newborn heavenly bliss!!!”

The actress also shared that she is “recovering well” and that George has “settled into such a nice routine.”

Evans ended her post by showing Bellamy, 45, some love.

“So grateful to my wonderfully perfect husband @mattbellamy for being so supportive & by my side every step of the way!” she wrote. “It’s an honor to bring another brilliant Bellamy into existence!”

The former pageant queen shared photos taken at the hospital before and after George’s arrival.

In one snap, the couple is seen kissing as Evans cradles George against her chest.

She also shared photos of their daughter, Lovella, 3, getting to know her new little brother by staring at him as he slept and even holding him in her arms.

Bellamy’s 12-year-old son, Bingham, whom the musician shares with his ex-fiancée Kate Hudson, also smiled for photos with George.

Bellamy’s dad joined the family’s celebrations and grinned in a picture next to his namesake grandchild, his famous son and other grandchildren.

The proud grandfather took to the comments section of Evans’ post to congratulate the couple and express his gratitude for their decision to name their child after him.

“Elle and Matt. Well done both of you on producing a beautiful baby and extending both our families with a son, no less,” he wrote.

He signed the sweet note from “Grandad George II and Grandma Sue in spirit.”

Bellamy and Evans tied the knot in August 2019, nearly five years after he and Hudson, 45, called off their engagement.
