Matt Hardy believes it’s only a matter of time before his brother Jeff Hardy becomes Willow again in TNA Wrestling.

On the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the TNA Wrestling star said he believes his brother Jeff will once again channel his Willow persona sooner rather than later.

“Willow is something that I think we will see sooner rather than later in TNA because we have had some discussions about that.” Matt Hardy said. “That’s something that Jeff is very passionate about. Much like his music, he’s very passionate about his creation of Willow The Whisp. That’s something that he really wishes he could’ve done with Bray Wyatt, especially The Fiend.” [H/T: Fightful]

Jeff hasn’t competed as Willow since his run with TNA Wrestling a decade ago. The last match saw him and Abyss lose to Bram (Thom Latimer) and Magnus (Nick Aldis) in a Monster’s Ball tag team match in June of 2014.

Jeff Hardy paid tribute to Bray Wyatt’s Fiend character

During the same show, Matt also commented on Jeff’s recent face paint design being a tribute to Bray Wyatt’s Fiend mask.

“Yes, it was 100% inspired from The Fiend mask, and Jeff was like, ‘Hey, do you think this would be cool if I did it, kind of as a tribute?’ I said, ‘Yeah, man, it’d be awesome, it’d be great. It’d be very cool for your face paint,’” Matt Hardy said. “He’s done some stuff that was very skeleton-like as we approach Halloween season, and he said I want to try and pull this off.

“It was identical, the image that he used to do his face paint,” Matt Hardy said. “He paints it all himself, it was absolutely identical. It was unbelievably great, so it was cool. This was very cool that Jeff was able to pay his respects and honor The Fiend.”

Matt went on to note that Jeff wished he got to work with Bray Wyatt more during his time in WWE. He highlighted how Jeff wanted to interact with him during the time when he was paired up with Broken Matt. He also said that Jeff was interested in working with Wyatt during his Fiend run.
