Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy is out now. The one-hour documentary centers around what led to the death of the beloved Friends actor in October of 2023 at his house in Pacific Palisades, Calif. The special features interviews with Morgan Fairchild, who played his mother in Friends, U.S. attorney Martin Estrada, former Los Angeles Police Department detective Greg Kading and more Hollywood insiders and law enforcement officials. None of the main cast of Friends appear in the documentary, however. I think the impact of his death is fresh…understandably, they were reluctant to go on a documentary about Matthew at this point.
