Matthias Schoenaerts has landed the villain role in the upcoming DC Universe Supergirl movie! The film will be helmed by Craig Gillespie, and will be based on the 2022 comic book series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Deadline reports. As previously reported, House of the Dragon‘s Milly Alcock is set to take on the title role. While it’s not been confirmed WHO Matthias will be portraying, we can make a big assumption. Keep reading to find out more… Krem of the Yellow Hills is the main antagonist in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, so it’s possible that will be who Matthias is portraying. The character ends up killing the father of Ruthye Marye Knoll, who put a bounty on Krem’s head. Supergirl becomes involved and a battle ensues. The film’s release date has been set for June 26, 2026, which is nearly one year after Superman hits theaters, kicking off the new DCU film slate.
