Neal Maupay does not allow himself to be done. Since his arrival at OM, last summer, from Everton, the French striker has continued to send spikes on social networks to his detractors. “Whenever I spend a bad day, I watch Everton's score and smile”he wrote on his X account last December.

This time, the Marseillais attacked Paul Scholes. The former Manchester United midfielder had openly criticized the attacker's behavior on the set of Sky Sports. “He doesn't care about us”he said, on the fact that Maupay imitated the celebration of James Maddison. Words that do not pass for the 28 -year -old player.

A story of toes

On his social network, the OM striker wanted to respond to Paul Scholes.

“Surprised that Paul Scholes could put my name in his mouth next to his daughter's toes”he writes on X. Maupay refers to a video of Scholes kissing his daughter's toes in a Instagram post dating from 2021.

Maupay's post on X did not go unnoticed. He has already reached 1.4 million views and raised 36,000 likes at not even 24 hours.
