While his departure from PSG is now confirmed, Kylian Mbappé will indeed play with Real Madrid, the Bondynois having already signed a five-year contract with the Merengue club.

The Mbappé soap opera is coming to an end. And this time, the outcome of the saga is no longer in doubt. As expected for several weeks, Kylian Mbappé will indeed leave PSG at the end of the season. At the end of his contract next June, the Bondynois informed Nasser Al-Khelaïfi of his departure last week, ensuring that his decision was irrevocable.

There is also no doubt that the former Monegasque will join Real Madrid, as he dreamed of when he was a child. According to Marca, everything is already in place: the top scorer in Ligue 1 would have in fact signed his contract at the beginning of the month with the Merengue club.

A salary of between 15 and 20 million euros

According to the Madrid daily, Kylian Mbappé would have signed up for five years for a salary which would be much more modest than expected. While he receives some 35 million euros in the capital, excluding bonus, and many media reported a salary of 25 million euros with the Merengue, he should ultimately only receive between 15 and 20 million net euros per year, excluding bonuses.

If he should be the best paid player in the Madrid squad, this salary does not explode the club’s salary scale and will avoid the jealousies of the other stars of the club. His signing bonus would also not be as high as expected since while some mentioned the sum of 100 million euros, it should only amount to 50 million euros. The proof, seen from Madrid, of the efforts made by the Frenchman to join Real.
