The way Luis Enrique spoke to Kylian Mbappé between PSG’s two Champions League matches against Barcelona last season did not really please the former Real Madrid player.

The documentary dedicated to Luis Enrique was released on September 30 on Movistar+. In this series of three episodes dedicated to him, entitled “You have no idea.”the Paris Saint-Germain coach can often be perceived as a vehement character.

This is particularly the case in the sequence where he speaks with Kylian Mbappé, after the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League lost (3-2) against FC Barcelona on April 10. During his speech, the Spanish technician strongly advises his number 7 to participate in defensive tasks, using particularly flowery vocabulary.

Mbappé/Luis Enrique, Guti does not validate the sequence

Guti didn’t really appreciate this staging.

“These things don’t need to come out. I don’t know, it’s like you’re putting him down in a way. You can tell him in private. During an exchange with a player, you can speak in this way as a coach, whether with Kylian Mbappé or another player, it’s ok. But using it in a documentary seems ugly to me”judged the former Real Madrid player on set from El Chiringuito.

“I think it’s uglyinsists Guti. It’s a good thing you can tell them that, because ultimately, it’s true. It’s not enough to attack, it’s not enough to score goals. But spreading it seems like a mistake to me. If I were Kylian, I wouldn’t have let them release that passage. »
