Earlier this week, Kylian Mbappé was presented at the Santiago Bernabeu following his arrival from Paris Saint-Germain. And the problems began.

But although no transfer fee has been paid, the financial outlay for the 25-year-old Frenchman is very significant to say the least.

That’s why MD claims that Real Madrid need to start bringing in some cash. To do this, they are considering selling several of their promising La Fabrica stars, including Mario Martin, Nico Paz and Alvaro Rodriguez, all of whom are unlikely to feature in the first team squad this coming season. If the sale goes ahead, it will include sell-on and buy-back clauses, as is usually the case when Los Blancos part ways with their young players.

Espanyol have not been deterred by these clauses. The report states that the Pericos have tried to sign the three aforementioned players on loan, but Real Madrid’s stance to sell them means that the Catalan leaders may not be able to achieve their aims.

The sales of Rafa Marin, Alex Jimenez and Marvin Park have brought in some funds for Real Madrid, but it seems more are needed. It remains to be seen who will leave before the end of the summer transfer window.
