Kylian Mbappé revealed that his “idols” Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane had inspired his dream of joining Real Madrid.
Mbappé almost joined Madrid in 2022 before finally taking the plunge two years later, but he now said that he was also close to signing for the club when he was a child.
He also revealed that it was his idolatry for these two players in particular who aroused his love for the club.
Mbappé said: ” I dream every day to play here. Zidane was my idol, I started thanks to him. This club has an aura, it's the best in the world.
