Kylian Mbappé starts with Real Madrid against Villarreal on Sunday.

Left to rest by Didier Deschamps for the next gathering of the French team and announced injured, Kylian Mbappé is not injured enough to be left out of the Real Madrid starting lineup. The team composition concocted by Carlo Ancelotti for the match against Villarreal this Saturday, at 9 p.m., includes the captain of the Blues, starting at the forefront of the attack alongside Vinicius Jr.

Mbappé was a substitute, before coming on as a substitute in Real Madrid’s defeat against Lille on Wednesday in the Champions League. HIS presence will inevitably get people talking, with some even questioning the legitimacy of the former Parisian to wear the captain’s armband of the selection.

Three other French internationals will be on the Bernabeu pitch from kick-off: Aurélien Tchouameni, who will start in central defense with Antonio Rüdiger, Ferland Mendy, on his usual left flank, and Eduardo Camavinga, sentry in front of the defense.

The Real Madrid eleven: Lunin – Carvajal, Tchouameni, Rüdiger, F. Mendy – Camavinga – Valverde, Modric – Bellingham – Mbappé, Vinicius Jr.
