Kylian Mbappé, the striker of PSG and the French team, spoke about his relationship with money and wealth.

PSG star Kylian Mbappé is the highest paid player in France. In Paris, and since its last extension in May 2022, it earns €56M per year net. Some believe that he is paid too well, but he believes that he is paid his fair value.

Mbappé: “I didn’t steal anything from anyone”

“The truth is that I don’t know exactly…” he replied when asked what his salary was. “At 12, I also thought there was too much money in football. I deserve the money I earn. I didn’t steal it from anyone. That’s how the world works.”

Mbappé’s lawyer, Delphine Verheyden, also declared on Envoyé Spécial: “There is no guilt or shame to be had. If we could have accepted 10,000 million, we would have done so because the system wants that. »

Mbappé will be at the end of his contract next June and he has not yet decided what he intends to do. Real Madrid would offer him 30 million euros per year for him to join their squad. PSG, for its part, would be ready to pay its star 100 million euros so that he returns and continues his journey near the Parc des Princes.
