Two months after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé has taken legal action to demand 55 million euros from his former club.
The end of the adventure between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé is definitely difficult. The French striker continues to demand money from his former club, and has reached a new stage in this saga.
According to Le Monde, Mbappé and his clan have contacted the legal committee of the Professional Football League (LFP) as well as UEFA, through the French Football Federation (FFF), as required by procedure.
PSG risks sanctions
The captain of the French team is demanding from PSG an estimated sum of 55 million euros gross. This amount would correspond to his last three months of salary, from April to June, as well as an “ethical bonus” to which he believes he is entitled. He also reportedly did not receive part of the bonus upon signing his contract.
This saga could cost PSG dearly. Financially, of course. But in the event of refusal to pay, the capital club is exposed to sanctions such as a recruitment ban or a deprivation of its UEFA license, which would prevent it from playing in the Champions League or the Europa League.
