While PSG had accepted the mediation proposed on Wednesday for the LFP Legal Commission in the case opposing it to Kylian Mbappé, the latter refused the discussion.

No hand extended to Paris Saint-Germain. This is essentially what Kylian Mbappé’s lawyers have just confirmed this Wednesday, a few hours after the player’s former club Real Madrid communicated to say that it accepted the mediation proposed today by the Legal Commission of the Professional Football League. With this choice, Kylian Mbappé and his representatives seem determined to go to court.

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted with the audience held today. “These are the terms in which PSG began its press release published a little earlier in the day. The one sent by Kylian Mbappé’s entourage did not have the same tone: ”

The possibility of mediation was raised this morning. (…) This hypothesis was rejected, during the session, by the player’s representative. »

UEFA will have to decide

While Kylian Mbappé has also contacted UEFA on the matter, the situation is becoming tense again between the two parties. The Bondy player is determined to recover the payment of bonuses (including one “loyalty” amounting to thirty million euros gross) and unpaid salaries that he is demanding from his former club. The total is estimated at around fifty-five million euros.

While we wait to find out what the European Football Union thinks, which could notably decide to deprive PSG of European competitions by withdrawing its license, the case seems to be slowly but surely heading towards the industrial tribunal. And perhaps further.
