After his match in Mallorca with Real Madrid (1-1), Kylian Mbappé received a disastrous rating on the OneFootball website.
A disappointment, but not a disaster either. Kylian Mbappé’s first Liga game, in Mallorca on Sunday night (1-1), was a total failure. But the season is still long, and the Bondy player got away with it in Marca with a score of 6/10, which is far from being the worst of his team (Courtois, Carvajal, Mendy and Tchouaméni had 5).
However, another rating is circulating on social media, and it is much more negative: a humiliating 2.7/10, very far from the 7/10 of Vinicius Jr and the 9.2/10 of the scorer, Rodrygo. It is especially difficult to explain.
Other much less bad notes
This rating comes from the OneFootball website, a German platform that follows the main championships. Other entities such as Sofascore or Whoscored, which assign ratings based on player statistics, respectively display a 7.5/10 for Mbappé (better than Vinicius) and a 6.9/10 which places the Bondynois in the Madrid average.
Statistically, Mbappé’s performance is not catastrophic despite 10 lost balls and 3 lost duels, figures far from unusual for a striker. It is more the impression left that is disappointing, because below expectations, with also a marking error noted on Mallorca’s goal.
