Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappé is reportedly ready to agree to play as a center forward if he signs for Real Madrid this summer.

It appears the stage is set for Mbappé to finally leave PSG for Madrid this summer, but if the 25-year-old joins the Spanish giants as a free agent after his contract at the Parc des Princes expires, it would appear that According to Spanish publication AS, the 2018 World Cup winner has agreed to be a number 9 for Real, rather than playing on the left side of the attack. The report highlights that Vinicius Jr, and sometimes Rodrygo, play in this role and that to accommodate all these offensive talents, Mbappé must play in the center.

Mbappé is arguably the best or one of the best players in the world and this season alone he has scored 41 goals in 42 matches, despite PSG coach Luis Enrique putting the former Monegasque on the bench several times. As of yet, he has yet to win the Champions League or the Ballon d’Or, but a move to Madrid could help him achieve both goals and make Los Blancos an even more powerful force on which he will have to be counted.

Kingpin gang

According to AS, Mbappé requested confidentiality from Madrid to prevent the PSG ultras from making his life difficult, which Neymar suffered at the end of his stay at the French club. The official announcement of the star’s transfer to Real is expected at the beginning of July.

The Bondynois, who did not feature in PSG’s 4-1 win over Lyon last weekend in Ligue 1, will be hoping to feature against Lorient on Wednesday night as his time at the club appears to be coming to an end.
