A press conference by Luis Enrique without mentioning the future of Kylian Mbappé is as rare as PSG going through a season without a crisis.

On the eve of Paris Saint-Germain’s trip to Lorient, for a late Matchday 29 match, Luis Enrique held a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. The Spanish technician notably mentioned the possibility of achieve a historic quadruple.

As this press briefing was about to end, a journalist fromEl Chiringuito asked a question about Kylian Mbappé. “I wanted to ask you if it wasn’t a little weird that Mbappé stayed on the bench after saying one day that he was the best player in the world,” said the Spaniard.

Luis Enrique, a coherent speech on Mbappé

The coach of the capital club preferred to laugh about it. “It was the first time at a press conference that no one asked me questions about Kyky. You failed to achieve this record, damn. However, the question was well formulated but you ruined the record. I can’t answer it. When Kyky speaks publicly, I will talk about it behind the scenes, without any problem”assured the former Spain coach.

A speech similar to the one he has already given on this subject. “I have nothing to say about Kylian until the parties decide. I will continue to remain silent and when the parties speak out, then it will be time to speak”declared Luis Enrique, Sunday evening, after the big victory (4-1) against Olympique Lyonnais.
