Granada manager Alexander Medina has been impressed by Facundo Pellistri since the Uruguayan joined from Manchester United on loan in January.
The young winger joined the La Liga outfit until the end of the season in the January transfer window and they will be satisfied with the impact he’s made thus far.
United received a loan fee and Pellistri already has two appearances to his name in a Granada shirt.
Pellistri started both games but featured heavily in their draw against Barcelona last weekend as he scored and assisted on the night.
Granada boss Medina, who is also from Uruguay, was asked at a press conference about Granada’s addition Pellistri.
As quoted by Sport890, Medina said (as per Manchester Evening News): “Facu Pellistri surprised me in the first talk wwe had, in these two weeks of work he has given us a lot and in defensive solidarity.
“I looked for Pellistri because he knew what he could give us. He meets all the conditions on the wing, he had his personal ambition for growth and that leaves me happy.
“With Barcelona, he made a lot of effort in defence to execute the pressure, he had a goal, an assist. He is consolidated in Europe and it is up to us to guide him, so this is a positive loan.”
