Megan Moroney has been taking the country music scene by storm the last couple of years! The 26-year-old “Tennessee Orange” singer is a rising star to watch and she just released her second album Am I Okay? Megan describes her latest effort as “Lucky‘s [her debut album released last year] older cousin that can drink” as she shares more of her personal story in the 14 songs. “I think that just sonically, it feels more advanced. I wrote it with the intention of playing bigger venues. I’m touring nonstop, and the songs just feel more grown up. I think the emotions are more intense on this album than Lucky,” she tells People. In a new interview, Megan opens up about her dating life and the “short-lived” love songs as she is very much single. Keep reading to find out more… “I really don’t have time for [dating] right now,” she shared. “I tried dating for a second and then I quickly realized that now is not the time. I think in the album you get that vibe. The love songs were very short-lived!” “Unfortunately a lot of my personal life revolves around my work life, so that’s why dating right now is just not something that’s in the front of my mind. I don’t really worry about it too much,” Megan adds. “And as far as dating currently, I don’t think I’ve ever been more single!” Check out Megan Moroney‘s new album Am I Okay? on Apple Music, or you can stream on Spotify below!
