Megan Thee Stallion recently revealed she finally watched Sex and the City!

The 29-year-old rapper made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week and gushed over the HBO series, but also had a bone to pick with people.

“Nobody told me Sex and the City was this good!” she said. “I’m pissed. Nobody said, ‘Megan you should be watching Sex and the City for the culture’… I started watching the show and I cannot look away. I’m watching it while I’m working out. I’m watching it while I’m in glam. I’m watching it while I have nothing else to do, and I’m a busy girl.”

Megan also shared her thoughts on each character, who she would be, and even sparked a response from the show’s star Sarah Jessica Parker!

On Samantha: “Is this not a picture of me? Because she is me. I’m her… When Sex and the City first started for me, I said, ‘Oh, I hate this character. Why y’all making her like sex is the ruler of my life, and it’s like, ‘I’m just so desperate.’ I was like, ‘It’s a horrible character.’ But then as the show kept going, I’m like, ‘Wait a minute.’ I’m glad I hung in there because she runs men. She does not let men run her. She keeps trying to tell the girls, stop making the man the center of your life. Like, go shopping, have a good time, make your money and then have fun with your little toys. And I’m like, ‘Yes! I get that!’”

On Charlotte: “My girl. She is a little delulu, but it’s cute. She would be my bestie because she’s so emotional, and I feel like it’s okay to cry. It’s okay to be a little crazy. She might be a Cancer in the show. Her character has to be a Cancer… And I feel like me, you know, Cancers and Aquarius go together very well. I don’t know. She would be my bestie, because I would really have to, like, talk her down off a lot of these crazy thoughts that she – You know what was wrong with that friend group? Nobody ever told her, ‘Charlotte, you trippin’. You’re not really thinking clear. They just was letting her do this crazy stuff. Like, she needs me. I need to be added to this group, so I could be the voice of reason.”

On Miranda: “This is the worst character on the show. I cannot stand Miranda. She never got nothing good to say. She’s so sad all the time. First of all, Steve, is the best character on the show. How can anybody even fix their lips to be mean to Steve and Miranda figured out a way to be mean to Steve. The only thing Steve ever wanted to do was love this crazy lady… Don’t like this character.”

On Carrie: “She’s always attractive doing these sicko things. She’s nuts, but you know what? I see a lot of myself in this character. Carrie really loved drama. She’d literally wake up and figure out, ‘How can I mess up everybody’s day? How can I be my cutest and mess up everybody’s day?’ ‘How can I make my life more complicated? Simply, she could have always made the right choice. She could have always chose sanity but she always chose insanity, and I had to wonder, is that me? I feel like I choose the wrong option of men.”

After journalist Evan Ross Katz shared Megan‘s thoughts on his Instagram, Sarah Jessica Parker, Carrie herself, commented on the post. She simply wrote, “Hmmmm….”

Speaking of SJP, the actress has been spotted all over NYC filming scenes for the upcoming season of the sequel series And Just Like That… Check out photos from Saturday (October 26) HERE, photos from throughout the week HERE, and pics from Monday (October 21) HERE!
