Hyderabad: Mental Wellness Event 'FEEL 2024' Hosted by Goodmind.app

City-based mental wellness startup, Goodmind.app, held the 4th edition of its event ‘FEEL 2024’ in Hyderabad on Sunday. The event, focused on mental health awareness, saw around 3,000 people participating. Attendees took part in activities like art therapy workshops, panel discussions, open mic sessions, and expert talks on managing mental health challenges.

Saniya Mohammed, the Founder and CEO of Goodmind.app, gave the welcome address. She spoke about the role of technology in improving access to mental healthcare. “Technology can play a crucial role in making mental healthcare more accessible. That is why we created Goodmind.app – to connect people with therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists,” she said.

Sita Pallacholla, CEO of We Hub, delivered a special address. She talked about the importance of human resilience in today’s complex world. Pallacholla encouraged the younger generation to understand their own limitations, seek support from experts, and build a sense of community to strengthen their mental health.

Ajith Rangnekar, Director General of RICH, delivered the keynote address. He stressed the importance of humility when facing modern challenges. “To navigate the complexities of our time, it is essential to approach challenges with humility and a willingness to learn from others,” Rangnekar said.

After the speeches, a panel discussion took place. Vikas Katragadda, Co-Founder of Naandi Ventures, emphasized the benefits of practicing yoga and meditation to overcome feelings of helplessness. Dr. Gowri Iyer, Assistant Professor at the Public Health Foundation, discussed the need for mental healthcare to be both affordable and accessible. Rashi Srivastav, Chief Digital Officer at Quentelli, shared her experiences of the highs and lows in her entrepreneurial journey. Vinutha Naga Rallapalli from We Hub also spoke about the challenges of entrepreneurship, calling it a lonely journey.

The event concluded with an art therapy workshop and open mic sessions. Participants shared their personal stories and experiences, making the evening a reflective and empowering experience for all.
