FC Barcelona does not lack ambitions. The announcement of Blaugrana interest in Erling Haaland with a view to the 2025 summer transfer window is proof of this. But for the moment, no one believes these rumors. The reason is quite simple: the Blaugrana are still in dire financial straits and clearly do not have the means to snatch the Norwegian crack player from the clutches of Manchester City. To try to get its head above water and be able to recruit reinforcements, in addition to its famous economic levers, Barça hopes to achieve big sales.

Sport announced since last night that the Culés' objective is to collect at least €200 million! A goal that is not easy to achieve, even if there are many initial candidates. Half of this hoped-for sum could also be reached thanks to Raphinha alone. As a reminder, the Brazilian winger is in the sights of Al-Hilal and Neymar's club would be willing to pay €100 million to afford him. If the former Rennais agrees to go to Saudi Arabia, he would allow his club to hit the jackpot.

Barça is even counting on Todibo to replenish its coffers

For the rest, the Blaugrana are mainly hoping to bring in cash by getting rid of several defenders far from being considered key elements. The Catalan daily thus mentions the names of Andreas Christensen and Jules Koundé. The Dane and the Frenchman are linked until 2026 and 2027 respectively, but their performance is far from satisfying Barça. The sale of one of these two players could, however, be enough. On the other hand, Eric Garcia (loaned to Girona) and Clément Lenglet (loaned to Aston Villa, both under contract until 2026, have clearly become unwanted.

He has not played for Barça since the 2019/2020 season, but Jean-Clair Todibo could also bring in some money for the Catalans if Nice sells him this summer. In fact, Sport ensures that 25% of the Frenchman's resale price will go into Spanish coffers. Finally, it's decided: Barça has confirmed its choice to sell Ansu Fati. Loaned to Brighton where he plays little, notably due to injuries, the man who was announced as the successor to Lionel Messi has lost all credit. Under contract until 2027, the 21-year-old player has not really stood out.
