The president of Olympique de Marseille has reportedly made a strong decision for the end of the transfer window.

In just a few months, he had established himself as a darling of the Vélodrome, thanks to his personality, his defensive impact and his surpassing of his role on the offensive side. But against all expectations, Chancel Mbemba was pushed towards the exit. And his adventure ended at theMarseille Olympics is not up to the mark of his contribution to the club.

According to information from Sacha Nabet, the Congolese international was indeed “dismissed for serious misconduct” by Olympique de Marseille. Information that has not been officially confirmed by the Marseille club for the moment, but which has not failed to make the supporters react.

A very surprising departure

Despite his popularity, Chancel Mbemba had indeed been placed on the list of undesirable players after the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi, along with another influential member of the squad, Jordan Veretout. If his dismissal is confirmed, the Congolese would therefore be free of any contract.

Mbemba has even reportedly found a way out to open a new chapter in his career. As a reminder, the central defender arrived at Olympique de Marseille in 2022, from FC Porto.
