Before entering the semi-finals of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain made a big announcement for its future.

The party was not complete, but there was still a scent of magic in the rainy sky of the Parc des Princes on Saturday. Shortly before the kick-off of a match against Le Havre which ended in a frustrating scenario for the Parisians (3-3), the club especially announced the extension of its nugget Warren Zaire-Emery.

Dressed in a suit for the occasion alongside his president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the Parisian titi proudly posed with his new jersey. The midfielder has signed a new contract which binds him to PSG until 2029. And for Paris, it is a real message sent to the competition for the future.

Zaire-Emery proclaims his love for PSG

“It’s a huge source of pride for me to continue the adventure with my training club, the one I’ve always wanted to play for since I was little, explained Warren Zaire-Emery in comments given to the club media. I arrived at the age of eight and I’ve been here for 10 years. You should know that since I was little, with my family, we have watched Paris Saint-Germain matches and I have always loved that club. I have always supported it and now I have worn the jersey for over a year and a half. I’m very proud. »

The satisfaction of PSG supporters is not limited to this extension. Warren Zaire-Emery made another announcement: that of spending his entire career in his favorite club. “I have always lived in Paris, my whole family is in Paris, and I feel at home in this club. I feel good here and I hope I will spend my whole career here. Since I was little, with my family, my parents, I have always watched Paris Saint-Germain. It’s a club I wanted to play for when I was little and now for two years… It’s a dream that I’m living with my club. And I hope that it continues as long as possible because it’s really the club that I love and that I want to play for as long as possible.”. Very strong words which will only strengthen the titi’s rating in the sections of the Parc des Princes.
