Mercedes Moné can’t wait to watch some Netflix.
The wrestling world continues to buzz ahead of the premiere of “Mr. McMahon”, the docuseries about the former WWE Chairman. The series is set to premiere on September 25.
Before she signed with AEW, Mercedes Moné, then known as Sasha Banks, was one of WWE’s top stars for several years. She won the women’s title six times on the main roster, among other accolades. During her time with WWE, she worked with Vince McMahon, as her run came prior to his resignation in 2022.
Mercedes Moné recently appeared on WFAN, and she was asked for her thoughts about the documentary (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)
“I haven’t been talking to anybody,” she said. “I stay in my locker room and stay in my lane. All I do know; I’m going to grab a blunt, I’m going to get some wine, and I’m going to be watching some Netflix. I can’t wait.”
McMahon issued a statement about the documentary. Click here to see what he had to say.
Mercedes Moné currently holds the AEW TBS Championship. She is also the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion.
