The CEO is #AllElite.

After weeks of reports and speculation, Mercedes Moné made her official AEW debut on the March 13 episode of AEW Dynamite: Big Business in her hometown of Boston.

Moné opened the show by entering to a new theme song coupled with a raucous reaction from the fans inside TD Garden. Moné first thanked the fans for sticking with her over the years through the highs and the lows. But now, she’s here in AEW to take care of business.

Moné said that AEW is the only place where the revolution can be global. She can’t wait to tear it up with everyone in the locker room and noted her unfinished business with Willow Nightingale, who is slated to face Riho tonight. Ultimately, Moné is in AEW as The CEO.

AEW President Tony Khan took to social media to confirm Moné’s signing.

The former Sasha Banks has been away from WWE for nearly two years. In January 2023, she made her NJPW debut and went on to win the IWGP Women’s Championship from KAIRI a month later. In May, she competed against Willow Nightingale for the inaugural NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship, however Moné suffered a career-threatening ankle injury during the bout and Nightingale ultimately won.

Moné has been out of action ever since, however she did make an appearance in the crowd at AEW All In London last August. At the end of 2023, there were reports that she had talks with both WWE and AEW before it became clear that her inevitable AEW debut would take place on March 13.

WrestleZone will provide more information on Moné’s signing as details become available.
