Mercedes Moné is surprised how over Harley Cameron‘s puppet of her has gotten on AEW programming.
In the latest issue of the MonéMag, Mercedes Moné wrote about the rise of popularity of Harley Cameron’s Moné puppet.
“When I shared the news with Joshua that AEW is heading to the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, on April 16th, he couldn’t help but ask if the Mercedes Moné puppet would be there. Honestly, it cracked me up! This little puppet has really taken on a life of its own,” Mercedes Moné wrote. “I mean, let’s be real—this thing doesn’t look anything like me, but it sure knows how to bring the entertainment!
“And at Grand Slam! That puppet had its moments, but I kicked it so hard that it practically flew backward! I’ve been a fan of DDT Yoshihiko for ages, so consider this my tribute. If that Muppet Moné ever wants to hop on the money train, it’s going to need to step up its game. Seriously, it should probably just take a seat and leave the spotlight to the real star—because we all know who runs this show!”
Fans continue to ask All Elite Wrestling to make Moné puppets to put on sale on Shop AEW but so far it hasn’t happened.
