Stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi top the 2024 Football Instagram rich list.

The Al-Nassr star, who has 617.2 million followers on Instagram, tops the list as he earns around £1,537,855 per post. Ronaldo is followed by his arch rival Messi, who earns £1,239,794 for every post on the social media platform – according to Football’s Finest.

Kylian Mbappé comes third with earnings close to £277,532 per post, while Arsenal and England star Bukayo Saka is surprisingly placed fourth in the list. The England winger has 5.8 million followers on Instagram and earns £233,756 per post.

Mbappé not very far

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah rounds out the top five on the rich list, while Manchester City goal-scoring machine Erling Haaland has been placed eighth. Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Kevin De Bruyne also made the top ten.

Even in the twilight of their careers, Messi and Ronaldo continue to dominate on and off the pitch. Next up, Messi will play for Inter Miami against his boyhood club, Newell’s Old Boys, on February 16 in a pre-season friendly, while Ronaldo, 39, will play for Al-Nassr against Al-Hilal on Thursday.
