A new star will take charge of Inter Miami.
Since his arrival at Inter Miami last summer, Lionel Messi has continued to see former Barça teammates join him in Florida. Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez have all settled down with the Herons in recent months.
According to ESPN, a fourth thief could well join the merry band before long: Angel Di Maria. At the end of his contract with Benfica next June, the Argentine striker finds himself forced to give up a return to his hometown of Rosario due to threats weighing on him and his family.
A date to set
The question now is whether “El Fideo” will join the American franchise after the 2024 Copa América or whether we will have to wait until the start of 2025 to see him land in MLS.
As a reminder, this 48th edition of the American Cup will take place from June 20 to July 14, 2024 in the United States.
