The goal was Burn's seventh for Newcastle and his first since scoring against Fulham in January 2024.
Alexander Isak went on to add a second after half-time as the Magpies secured a 2-1 victory.
Their triumph secured a first major domestic trophy since 1955, ending the club's 70-year wait for silverware.
Following the match, both goalscorers spoke to the CBS Sports panel pitchside.
However, Richards could not end the segment without trying his hand at Burn's iconic dance.
The 32-year-old went viral after showing off his moves in the dressing room two years ago after Newcastle reached the Carabao Cup final.
He once again repeated his antics at Wembley after teaching them to Richards.
Before ending the interview, Richards told Burn: "I know you want to get away but we've got to do your dance before you go. Let's do it."
After placing his man of the match award on the desk, Burn showed Richards how to emulate his routine.

As for when he needs to report for international duty, he added: "Tomorrow morning. I'll be first there tomorrow at 8 o'clock."
