Michael B. Jordan And Ryan Coogler Reunite On New Mystery Project

Fruitvale Station collaborators Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler are reuniting are a new original film from Coogler and his production company Proximity Media Jordan starring and Coogler writing, diredting and producing. The film is an original spec from Coogler and marks his first original spec script since Fruitvale Station. Not much is known about the film other it being described as a genre style pic.

Coogler is producing through his Proximity Media company along with Proximity’s Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. Rebecca Cho from Proximity with exec produce.

The film will mark the fourth collaboration between Coogler and Jordan having previously worked together on Fruitvale Station, Creed and Black Panther.

For Jordan, he is coming off a big year after making his directing debut on Creed III where he reprised his star making role as Addonnis Creed. Coogler most recently directed Marvel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, another massive hit that grossed more then $800 million at the global box-office.

Both Jordan and Coogler are repped by M88 and WME.
