Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise prefers a move to Manchester United than one to Liverpool or Chelsea.

The attacker is expected to leave Selhurst Park this summer, when a £60m release clause in his contract becomes active.

Olise signed a new deal at the club last summer following interest from Manchester City and Chelsea.

But while that was a coup for Palace, the main bonus of Olise’s new deal was that it increased the release clause in his deal to £60m from a reported £35m.

Chelsea remain interested in Olise but Cole Palmer’s form this season has made the need for a right winger less urgent. Liverpool are planning for their future without Mohamed Salah, even if they hope to keep him this summer.

While Alejandro Garnacho has made the right wing spot his own in recent months, his preferred position is on the left.

Antony, an £85m signing from Ajax, could leave this summer while the club will listen to Jadon Sancho, who joined Dortmund on loan in January.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the club’s new co-owner, has entrusted Sir Dave Brailsford to conduct an audit of the club.

He will work with Omar Berrada, the club’s new CEO, and the current football structure to work on transfer targets.

That’s before Dan Ashworth arrives from Newcastle, with the former Brighton chief still serving gardening leave.

As well as Olise, United are interested in Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite, according to Football Transfers.

The Toffees are likely to sell the defender regardless of whether they survive this season, but the price they demand will depend on their Premier League future.
