The Undertaker’s unwavering commitment to risking his body for the enjoyment of fans has rightfully earned him legendary status. Consequently, it’s no wonder that UFC fighter Michael Page chose to pay homage to The Undertaker by making his entrance to the iconic theme at UFC 299. Page has now revealed additional plans he had for the tribute.

At UFC 299, Michael “Venom” Page honored The Undertaker with tribute entrance. He walked out to The Undertaker’s iconic theme, wearing a robe with a hoodie that he discarded at the beginning of his entrance.

During the post-fight press conference, MVP commented on the entrance and revealed that he had additional plans for it, but ultimately had to scale it back after UFC told him to calm down.

“To be fair, we had quite a bit more. It would have been even more entertaining. UFC was like, ‘Calm down, it’s your first one.’ We had to strip it back a little bit. I just like to make it a show. It helps me. It helps me relax when I’m putting on a show. It helps the time fly by and me have the best time ever. When I’m in that mode, I feel I’m the most dangerous.”

The Undertaker also reacted to Michael Page’s tribute to him as well. MVP is joining the ranks of UFC fighters who pay homage to The Undertaker during their walkouts. Israel Adesanya, for example, utilized The Undertaker’s theme and incorporated an urn into his entrance at UFC 276, adding a distinctive touch to his walkout as a tribute to the legendary WWE figure.
