Michele Morrone is the latest celebrity to speak out in support of Blake Lively. Over the weekend, 37-year-old actress accused her It Ends With Us co-star/director Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and a smear campaign. On Monday (December 23), the 34-year-old Italian actor – who will star alongside Blake in the upcoming A Simple Favor sequel – shared a message supporting her and recalled seeing her in “pain” after she finished filming It Ends With Us. “So it’s usually not my thing to make these types of videos, but I think it’s time to stand up for a person I really love and this person is Blake Lively,” Michele said in a video shared on his Instagram Story. “I personally met Blake during A Simple Favor 2, we shot this incredible film together, and I felt something was wrong, and I felt the pain and then we had the opportunity to talk, me and her,” Michele recalled. “Blake was in pain. And I’m really tired to see those kind of cruel and bad comments about her without knowing the situation.” Filming for It Ends With Us began in spring of 2023 and wrapped in early 2024. After she finished working on that movie, Blake – along with Michele, Anna Kendrick, and director Paul Feig – began filming A Simple Favor 2 in April 2024. “So that’s why I want to link right here the article [from] The New York Times so that you can understand before commenting, what happened,” Michele concluded. “That’s all I ask. That’s what I want you to do. Blake, I love you so much. Keep it up and we’re going to see each other very, very soon. Love you.” See all of the other stars that have also shared messages of support for Blake Lively amid the situation.
