EXCLUSIVE: Actor Michele Morrone has signed on to star opposite Anthony Hopkins in Maserati: The Brothers, directed by Academy Award-winner Bobby Moresco.
Morrone will star as Alfieri Il Maserati in the biopic about the family behind the high-performance automobiles. Hopkins will play an Italian financier who bankrolls the Maserati brothers.
The film will be produced by Italy’s Andrea Iervolino his new film and TV outfit called The Andrea Iervolino Company.
Iervolino’s previous company, ILBE Group – in which he was partnered with Monika Bacardi — produced the Bobby Moresco-directed biopic Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend and was also among the producers of Micheal Mann’s Ferrari starring Adam Driver and Penélope Cruz.

Morrone is best known for his performance in the Netflix global film franchise sensation, 365 DAYS. He will next be seen starring opposite Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick in Amazon’s A SIMPLE FAVOR 2, directed by Paul Feig, and currently stars opposite Megan Fox in Millenium Media’s SUBSERIENCE.
He is repped by manager Chuck James at Ascend Artist Representation.
